Ta-ta-ta-taa: And the winners of “Best Of IAIK 2015” are…

…Dominik Wieser, Patrick Klampfl, Johannes Feichtner, and David Bidner

The Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications (IAIK) awards four students, or former students, respectively, for outstanding achievements during 2015.

  • The prize in the category “Best IAIK Internship 2015” goes to to Patrick Klampfl;
  • Two prizes in the category “Best IAIK Bachelor Thesis 2015” go to to David Bidner and Dominik Wieser;
  • And the prize in the category “Best IAIK Master Thesis 2015” goes to Johannes Feichtner.

The prizes were handed out to the four winners during the presentation of next semester’s suggestions for bachelor thesis projects; needless to say that the applause was roaring.

The Foundation Secure Information and Communication Technologies has donated prizes with a value of 400 Euros each.

“Best Of IAIK” has been awarded for seven years in a row. With this prize, IAIK wants to honor numerous students with excellent project results. In fact, we would like to honor all our students’ efforts to achieve their goals. Considering the high density of excellent projects each year, the jury always faces a tough job when selecting the best ones.

The prizes got selected among approximately 30 bachelor theses, a dozen master theses, and roughly a dozen internships.

Congratulations!

Thanks go to Florian Reimair for taking the photo.
