…Michael Rodler, Florian Achleitner, and Simone Griesmayr.
The Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications (IAIK) has awarded three students, or former students, respectively, for outstanding achievements during 2014.
- The prize in the category “Best IAIK Internship 2014” went to Michael Rodler.
- The prize in the category “Best IAIK Bachelor Thesis 2014” went to Simone Griesmayr.
- And the prize in the category “Best IAIK Master Thesis 2014” went to Florian Achleitner.
The prizes were handed out to the three winners within the presentation of next semester’s suggestions for bachelor thesis projects; needless to say that the applause was roaring.
The Foundation Secure Information and Communication Technologies has donated vouchers for attending summer schools or scientific conferences with a value of 500 Euros each, and also a smart watch.
“Best Of IAIK” has been awarded for six years in a row. With this prize, IAIK wants to honor numerous students with excellent project results. In fact, we would like to honor all our students’ efforts to achieve their goals. Considering the high density of excellent projects each year, the jury always faces a tough job when selecting the best ones. In order to simplify this task, the projects of all students already on IAIK’s payroll are not eligible for the contest. The prizes got selected among 30 bachelor theses, approx. 20 master theses, and roughly a dozen internships.
Congratulations to this year’s winners of “Best Of IAIK”.
