Lisa, Lejla, Logic, What a Life.

It appears that Lejla and Lisa love logic. To us at IAIK this is just logical. After all, we also like logic a lot.

We are really pleased to see that the next generation of researchers is not waiting in disguise until “being allowed to do research at university”. They just go for it.

The summer weeks are always fun at IAIK. So many youngsters hanging out. For example, Lisa and Lejla recently came in through the project FIT. In addition, a dozen of other young research colleages are just about to start working on their summer internship at IAIK.

Lisa and Lejla work under the guidance of Bettina Könighofer. They invert the problem of playing games. Instead of playing games they reason about how to make programs which play games. This shift of perspective brings in a totally new view; moreover, this activity provides more fun: One can develop a rich set of skills by programming games. I wonder how many youngsters also dream to shift from passively playing games to actively programming games.

We all wish Lisa, Lejla, and also all the other internships at IAIK a couple of interesting and rewarding summer weeks.
